Juniper Cottage is on the edge of Uley, a quiet village on the edge of the Cotswold escarpment.  The Cotswold Way runs along the ridge of the valley.

Despite its rural location, Juniper Cottage is conveniently located close to the M5 (10 minutes from Junction 13) and the M4 (30 minutes, Junctions 16-19).  London is 2 hours away; Birmingham, 1.5 hours; Bristol, 30 minutes.

There is a fast train service from London Paddington to Kemble (Cheltenham line, 1 hr 15 minutes journey time) or Stroud; Virgin Cross Country trains stop at Cheltenham (30 minutes from the cottage).  The nearest station is at Cam (stopping trains from Gloucester or Bristol, 10 minutes from cottage).  Taxis normally meet trains at all these stations, but it is safest to book in advance.

Nearest airports are Bristol (40 minutes), Birmingham (1 hour 15) and London Heathrow (2 hours).
